Anyway, the newly posted save the date designs are a save the the date card coordinating with the Le Fleur invitation design, and a brand new postcard design inspired by chevron and polka dots, created for Andrea & Brenton and Rachel & Jared respectively.  Both feature customizable photos and color palettes.  Check them out in our collection here!

We are so excited to officially announce the arrival of our son, Finn Xavier Acosta, born November 21st, 2011 at 2:54pm, weighing in at 8 lb. 5 oz. and 21 inches long.  Finally getting to meet him was one of the most profound experiences of our lives.  We’re so blessed to have him here with us, and love him beyond words. Thanks to everyone for your well wishes.  It really means a lot to us!

Although we’re extremely sleep deprived, we’re all doing great!!!

A bold and vibrant option for a nautical wedding!

Custom Designed Nautical Invitations, Part III http://www.senorsenora.com/2011/10/new-custom-designed-nautical-invitations-part-three/ http://www.senorsenora.com/2011/10/new-custom-designed-nautical-invitations-part-three/#comments Fri, 07 Oct 2011 13:00:24 +0000 Carrie http://www.senorsenora.com/?p=2126 Share and Enjoy Share with Addthis ]]> This is the third and final version of the Nautical design, originally created for Erin and Brian.  This is definitely the boldest version in both pattern and color.  I chose a bright tangy orange envelope, a more classic typography style, and thicker patterns to layer with the color.  Here, it is shown tied with the butcher’s twine and a tiny silver-plated pewter anchor charm.  I just love how all the patterns and colors look stacked like this.  However, it would also look great with a pocketfold enclosure, and it could surely stand on it’s own without any enclosure at all!

To balance the bold feel, I paired it will a lighter color pattern for the envelope liners and custom map.  Overall, I think it has a vibrant, exciting look to it.

Another favorite detail for this version is the Nautical Flag custom postage, which spells out LOVE in the nautical alphabet.  This is a great sample of a tangent that you can spend hours on designing, and ultimate use minimally in the final design.  (Hopefully I will still finish my nautical flag invitation design someday!)
